北方民族大學(xué)（North Minzu University）是中國WEIYI 一所建立在少數(shù)民族自治區(qū)的部委高校，直屬于國家民族事務(wù)委員會，是國家民委和教育部、中國科學(xué)院、寧夏回族自治區(qū)人民政府共建高校。學(xué)校坐落在“塞上江南”——寧夏回族自治區(qū)銀川市。學(xué)校前身是西北第二民族學(xué)院，始建于1984年，2008年更名為北方民族大學(xué)。是絲綢之路大學(xué)聯(lián)盟成員。入選國家JI 大學(xué)生創(chuàng)新創(chuàng)業(yè)訓(xùn)練計劃高校、*批深化創(chuàng)新創(chuàng)業(yè)教育改革示范高校。由合肥工業(yè)大學(xué)對口支援北方民族大學(xué)。

North Minzu University, directly under the state ethnic affairs commission, is the only University in China established by the ministry of ethnic minorities in the autonomous region. The school is located in yinchuan, capital of ningxia hui autonomous region. The former northwest second college for nationalities was founded in 1984 and renamed northern university for nationalities in 2008. He is a member of the university alliance of the silk road. It has been selected as one of the first batch of universities in China to deepen innovation and entrepreneurship education reform. It is supported by hefei university of technology.
